I've stumbled upon the most marvellous thing today while out and about. Tell me, have you ever heard of 'nachos'?
You simply must try them, if you have not already -- if the dish is a more familiar one, I admit my soul truly wounded and implacable that the knowledge was not shared.
I'm glad to say our relationship won't be damaged over these nachos of yours; I've never heard of them. What exactly are they? Some sort of Spanish dish?
It's like writing to my brother; he's always got to open with salutations like my dearest, most beloved little sister. [And then they turn into could you please lend me ten quid, but never mind that.]
In any case, that sounds rather nice. The Americans do have a knack for frying things, don't they? If you bring them by, I'd be happy to try them.
Given that you've taken to writing like Jonathan, I shall close with one of the favourites from my school years.
My dearest, most beloved professor of Egyptology --
No, you're quite right, it lacks the same ring. I admit some envy, I've never been entirely certain whether my brother can write. All signs and years of schooling might point to 'yes', but I've yet to see practical proof, and as a man of science I must surely wait upon a better-supportable theory. ;)

Yours in mild amazement,

From the Americas, by the looks of it; fried corn tortillas, with peppers, shredded nug, and melted cheese. They may yet be local to Asgard.
Will you be about campus tomorrow? I'll bring a plate of them around.
Sincerely very,
-- Albus Dumbledore.

I'll be over in a moment, then.
